September 28, 2016 (Telluride, Colorado) – Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, Colorado is pleased to announce that John Carter will join the AAA Four Diamond resort, as the new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Carter brings a wealth of luxury hospitality experience to his new position. Prior to returning to Telluride for the opportunity with Madeline Hotel and Residences, Mr. Carter served as Director at several mountain destination properties including The Resort at Squaw Creek, The Sky Hotel in Aspen, Colorado, and The Hotel Telluride in Telluride, Colorado.

As a former Colorado Tourism Ambassador and current Harris Poll Travel Panelist, Mr. Carter's research and insight reflects the evolving vanguard of travel. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University as well as an Advanced Certification in Hospitality Marketing from the prestigious Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
