ATLANTA (March 1, 2016) – Originally founded in 2005 as a real estate development company, Atlanta-based Legacy Ventures has grown to become a third-party hospitality management company with properties throughout the southeast. Legacy Ventures was formed earlier this year from a triad of companies: Legacy Property Group, Legacy Restaurant Partners and Legacy Hotel Partners. Collectively, the three companies have grown to include more than 1,000 employees and supports two dozen hotels and restaurants throughout the southeast. Legacy Ventures manages and/or asset manages a collection of seven hotels in greater metro Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The company operates and manages six independently branded restaurants that have been concepted to provide a sense of place as well as taste, and leases four additional restaurants. "The name change to Legacy Ventures and the creation of one parent entity for our three companies is a reflection of how our integrated business model is a game changer for the hospitality management and food service industries," said David Marvin, president and founder of Legacy Ventures. "We started 20 years ago as developers with a real belief in the resurgence of downtown Atlanta. What we have learned over the past two decades is the close connection between hospitality development and hospitality operations. It was a natural progression for us to manage the hotels we built and due to our success we are now becoming a preferred third party management company for other hotel owners. We currently manage hotels flagged with major brands including Hyatt, Hilton and Marriott, and will be announcing new management agreements later this year," added Marvin.
