In his new role, Hopton-Jones will devote his skills to develop and implement goals, analyze sales patterns and guide the sales and marketing teams in the most effective positioning in order to optimize and maximize the hotel’s profitability.

With nearly a decade of hospitality experience, Hopton-Jones most recently served as the group sales manager at Hilton Birmingham where he was directly responsible for top-line group revenue production and was recognized as a “Top Achiever” at the Interstate Annual Sales Conference in 2015.

Hopton-Jones began his hospitality career at Marriott International as an account executive where he was responsible for multiple government agencies and department travel across the state of Alabama. He was routinely recognized in Marriott’s Southeastern Regional newsletter for outstanding marketing success and recipient of Marriott’s Golden Circle Award.
