HSMAI Revenue Optimization Conference (ROC) slated for June 22

(McLean, Va., June 7, 2016) The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association (HSMAI) announces its 13th annual Revenue Optimization Conference (ROC) Americas on June 22 in New Orleans. The event will be co-located with the HITEC 2016 conference.

ROC will focus on The Many Faces of Revenue Management. To be successful in hotels today, a revenue management leader must master many roles: analyst, strategist, tactician, communicator, thought leader, team builder, data advocate, distribution specialist, digital marketer, and more. This event will deliver the insights and expertise for revenue management professionals to develop skills and talents to succeed at optimizing their organization’s revenue.

“HSMAI’s ROC has been the place where hotel revenue leaders meet for education, collaboration, and innovation,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO of HSMAI. “This year we look forward to welcoming more than 500 industry professionals who are the catalysts of revenue optimization in their organizations.”

There are many new elements to this year’s event, including a change to Wednesday from the traditional Monday schedule.

Fifteen breakout session organized in 2 tracks Three options will be offered during each block of breakout sessions and will be organized into a “Thought Leadership & Trends” track and a “Tactical/Practical” track.

Access to HITEC exhibit hall…and general sessions For qualified ROC registrants, HITEC will provide one complimentary, non-transferable registration which entitles the recipient to three days of the exposition, access to exhibitor tutorials, TechTalks, and the HITEC keynote sessions.

Thom Singer will be the ROC emcee and “conference catalyst” Singer will be the catalyst for helping attendees makes meaningful connections at ROC through his unique approach to getting people to engage more and maximize their experience.

Awards Ceremony A new awards ceremony immediately following lunch will shine the spotlight on the incredible talent and accomplishments of revenue management leaders. We will honor the Vanguard Award honoree for lifetime achievement in revenue management, the Revenue Management Professionals of the Year, co-sponsored by Rainmaker, and the Certified Revenue Management Executives (CRMEs) in attendance.
