Hotel Equities Appoints Joe Reardon as Vice President of Business Development

ATLANTA, GA (October 1, 2013) -Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) www.hotelequities.com recently named Joe Reardon to the position of Vice President of Business Development.
He oversees the development team, negotiates management contracts and evaluates the financial feasibility of the firm's acquisition opportunities. His responsibilities include utilizing the existing portfolio of 50+ hotel assets as a platform for rapid growth with current and potential owners.
"Joe has a proven track record as a highly-skilled and capable leader who understands both hospitality and real estate and knows how to put together a deal," said HE Chief Operating Officer Brad Rahinsky. "We look forward to his expertise in leading our portfolio growth."
Mr. Reardon brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new post. He came to Hotel Equities from Alliance Hospitality where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and oversaw Sales and Marketing, along with Business Development, for the firm's extensive portfolio. Prior to joining Alliance, he served five years as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Noble- Interstate Group and Noble Investment Group where he managed a nationwide portfolio of hotels.

Mr. Reardon began his career with Marriott International in Sales and Marketing, transitioned to Operations as General Manager in various locations, but later moved back to sales where he was promoted to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. Over a 17-year span, he earned prestigious awards from Marriott International for work in select service, full service and resort hotels, including the Director of Marketing of the Year and the General Manager President's Cup.
Mr. Reardon has a proven track record of transforming sales cultures and systems to drive top line revenues. He possesses the ability to develop strong teams and create opportunities that have a positive impact on market share and profitability.
Mr. Reardon holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration & Tourism Management from North Carolina State University. He and his wife are the parents of two sons.
