KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (November, 2014) – Marc Bauer, general manager of Holiday Inn World’s Fair Park, announces the hotel’s newly expanded sales and catering team. The seasoned hospitality and business professionals join Bauer and Director of Sales Robin Holbrook at the recently renovated hotel that overlooks the exquisitely manicured World’s Fair Park.

Erica Greene has been hired as the director of catering and conference services; new sales managers are Nick Maute and David Jarnagin; Hayden Kershaw is the new catering manager; Chemain Kellogg is the sales coordinator; and Shady Eladawy is the hotel’s banquet manager.

Ms. Greene served as the director of catering for Marriott Downtown Knoxville for the past eight years. She has extensive experience marketing, selling and executing corporate, citywide and social events. She is a University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate.

Sales manager Nick Maute has spent the last 10 years working in the hospitality industry in Charleston, S.C. and Knoxville. He was employed by The French Quarter Inn in Charleston and served in several different positions, including night auditor and reservationist. He also worked at the upscale Market Pavilion Hotel in Charleston as a guest service representative and concierge. Maute spent several years at the Knoxville Marriott, as the business travel sales manager and assistant front office manager.

Sales manager David Jarnagin has 12 years of business and operations experience in the formal wear industry. Most recently, Jarnagin was the director of wholesale operations for Prestige Formal Wear and supervised 25 employees.

Hayden Kershaw, a recent University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate, has worked at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville and Courtside Catering and Events in San Clemente, Calif.

Chemain Kellogg, the new sales coordinator, is a seasoned business professional who has worked in a variety of positions and industries during her 20-year career. She spent 15 years working at Costco, as a front-end supervisor, inventory auditor and photo manager.

Banquet Manager Shady Eladawy has held various positions in the hospitality industry in Knoxville for 11 years. He has worked at Fox Den Country Club as a food and beverage supervisor; Bearden Banquet Hall as head banquet server and off-site caterer; and The Foundry on the Fair Site as a host and head banquet server. Mr. Eladawy also worked as a territory sales representative for several medical equipment companies.
