Orlando, Fla. – Nov. 3, 2015 – Hard Rock International – with hotel locations from Ibiza to Macau and Cancun to Chicago – announces plans to open Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta in spring 2018, bringing the legendary Hard Rock vibe to the popular Southeastern destination. Developed along with Bolton Atlanta LP, the 220-room Hard Rock International managed hotel will be located next to the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Stadium – future home of the Atlanta Falcons.

“Atlanta has become a preferred destination among travelers and the city’s widespread appeal makes it an ideal destination for Hard Rock’s global fan base,” said Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock International. “We look forward to showcasing our world-class brand and bringing the Hard Rock Hotels experience to this thriving modern city.”

Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will offer an assortment of unmatched amenities, including a vibrant lobby lounge set to become a local hotspot, heated outdoor swimming pool and a rooftop oasis where guests will enjoy cocktails and exceptional dining in the city’s fast growing arts district. Additionally, the property will feature a variety of offerings exclusive to the Hard Rock brand, such as a Rock Spa® featuring the brand’s latest music-infused spa treatments, Body Rock® workout facility, Rock Shop® where guests will be able to purchase the brand’s iconic merchandise, and a contemporary take on the Hard Rock Cafe reflective of the Castleberry Hill neighborhood.

“The new Hard Rock Hotel in Castleberry Hill will offer a new, best-in-class option for the millions of people visiting Atlanta each year,” said Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed. “In addition to serving tourists and visitors, this new hotel will serve as a powerful economic anchor, bringing new jobs and further investment to our downtown corridor and stadium neighborhoods.”

Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will ignite the region with live entertainment and shows, adding to the city’s rich music traditions like the Music Midtown Festival and annual Atlanta Jazz Fest. In true Hard Rock style, guests will also be treated to music memorabilia lining the hotel walls from local to global icons, including rock ‘n’ roll legends, hip-hop stars and indie artists alike. Conveniently located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will sit across the street from the region’s largest concentration of sporting and entertainment venues, all within walking distance to the 4th largest Convention Center in the United States. The upcoming project will cater to the distinct needs to meetings and incentive groups with more than 10,660 square feet of ballroom and banquet facility space.

“We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Hard Rock International as part of the Castleberry Park development, an EB-5 project” said Frank Chen, general manager of Bolton Atlanta, LP – the ownership group for the Castleberry Park development project. “The area’s energetic atmosphere and history of embracing artistic endeavors aligns well with the Hard Rock Hotel product and we’re sure the upcoming property will quickly become the go-to entertainment and leisure destination.”

* Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) administer the EB-5 Program. Under this program, entrepreneurs (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21) are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) if they make the necessary investment in a commercial enterprise in the United States and plan to create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers. This program is known as EB-5 for the name of the employment-based fifth preference visa that participants receive.
