MEXICO CITY, (January 4, 2017) – La Colección, Grupo Posadas’ recently reimagined collection of beach resorts located in Mexico’s most desired locations, kicks off the year with new arrivals, welcoming Alain Berthelot as the new Managing Director of Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta. Berthelot is the former General Manager of Live Aqua and Grand Fiesta Americana Monterrey and, as of December, brings his vast expertise in the hospitality industry to Posadas’ vibrant Puerto Vallarta property.
An internationally-experienced hospitality veteran, Alain has spent the past 29 years working in management positions for multiple resorts and hotels throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. Before joining Grupo Posadas, he was Resident Manager of Secrets Puerto Los Cabos/AMResorts and prior to that he was the General Manager of Zoëtry Casa del Mar and the Resident Manager of Dreams Los Cabos. Alain’s expertise includes developing profitable growth and managing team-leaders by inspiration and focusing on bringing out the best out of each individual.
