New Orleans, LA — New Orleans-based hotel owner/management company Expotel Hospitality Services, LLC, has announced the appointment of hospitality marketing veteran Danielle DeGeorge as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

DeGeorge, who joined Expotel two years ago, will lead the multi-state, rapidly expanding hotel owner and management company’s strategic sales and growth initiatives, said company president Kerry Ranson.

“Danielle’s passion for the core values of our company, including building success through teamwork, doing ‘the right thing’ always for guests and employees and keeping a steady focus on desired results, is what makes her such a leader in our company,” Ranson commented.

DeGeorge joined Expotel in 2013 following four years with the 10- hotel, Irish-based luxury hotel group, the Doyle Collection, where she was recognized for increasing revenue to record levels and re-positioning the hotels from 3-Star to 4-Star Deluxe designation.

Previously, she spent many years as Sales Manager at the InterContinental New Orleans and the InterContinental Miami, where she was Conference Services Manager. A career highlight for DeGeorge was joining the prestigious, 5-Diamond Jumeirah Hotel Group at its first U.S. property, the Essex House, in New York.

A native of New Orleans, DeGeorge is a graduate in Business Management and Marketing from The University of New Orleans.
