For many, the key to success requires low costs and high output. GCommerce believes the mold must be broken. Focus must be placed on unmated customer service, custom strategy, and most importantly, a team of experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate individuals who believe the game must be changed.
Erik Dorr, Vice President of Sales and a recent addition to the GCommerce team in 2015, embodies these characteristics and more. Understanding the importance of communication and collaboration, Erik has not only contributed to the company culture, he has brought with him an established network and the respect of his industry peers.
Pride and excitement were felt as GCommerce learned Erik received the prestigious President’s Award at the 2015 HSMAI Arizona Holiday Awards Gala in Phoenix Arizona on December 3, 2015. Honored for his leadership and dedication to the HSMAI organization and its Arizona Chapter, Erik is very much deserving of such an honor, and was presented the award by the 2015 President, Michelle Huebner, CMP of We-Ko-Pa Resort & Conference Center.
Previously the Executive Board Treasurer in 2015, the Co-Chairman of the HSMAI MPI Annual Golf Tournament, and an active volunteer for the Charity of the Year, Kitchen on the Street, Erik takes pride in his involvement with the HSMAI Arizona Chapter.
As President-Elect, Erik will take on a leadership role, not only supporting the chapter President wherever and whenever necessary, but overseeing and supporting all committees to ensure they remain on task with the chapter’s mission, identifying and developing new chapter leadership, planning the 2017 leadership training session, assisting in building the image of the chapter in the local business community, and more.
GCommerce President Chris Jackson had the following to say about Erik’s award – “At GCommerce we strive to provide award winning work for our clients. This takes talent, dedication and innovation from everyone at GCommerce. Every now and then this means individual recognition by the industry. It is with great pride that GCommerce’s Erik Dorr has been recognized with the Presidents Award for 2015 by his industry peers at HSMAI Arizona. It is a testament to his dedication to Hospitality Sales & Marketing and the industry as a whole.”
Please help GCommerce in congratulating Erik once more on this incredible award. It is the belief of GCommerce that Erik will not only contribute to the continued success of GCommerce in 2016, but also advance the Arizona chapter of HSMAI as President-Elect.
