McCartan to Spearhead Duetto's Expansion throughout EMEA

SAN FRANCISCO and LONDON, Dec. 5, 2014 — Duetto, the market leader in hotel profit optimization software, announced that Michael McCartan has joined the company as its Managing Director for EMEA. Based in London, McCartan will spearhead rollout of the company's products and development of customer success teams throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

McCartan previously served as Chief Executive Officer of eRevMax, a travel technology service provider, where he grew operations to serve more than 8,000 customers, capturing data benefitting more than 40,000 hotels worldwide. He directed product development, business development, and customer and hotel relationship management in more than 100 countries, managing offices and research development in the U.S., UK, Poland, Singapore and India, and sales representatives globally.

Prior to eRevMax, McCartan held senior management positions at Pegasus Solutions and at UK-based Computer and Design Services, where he managed sales of software solutions for the civil engineering industry. McCartan has an engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and a business degree from the Open University. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at major travel industry events across EMEA.

Duetto announced the opening of its European headquarters office in London earlier this year, and subsequently announced the opening of a headquarters for the Asia Pacific region, in Singapore. In July, the company announced a $21 million funding to continue its expansion into key markets around the globe. Accel Partners in the U.S. led the round, with participation from Accel Partners in London.
