DALLAS (Feb. 11, 2016) – DHISCO, the world’s leading hospitality distribution company, today announced that its vice president for content, Anne Cole, has been elected to the board of the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association, or HEDNA, the industry’s global forum for advancing hospitality distribution through collaboration and knowledge sharing. “Cole is one of the industry leaders who is developing solutions to enrich hotel content available on online travel agencies and global distribution systems,” said DHISCO CEO Toni Portmann. “Finding solutions for delivering more descriptive, rich content through these channels is one of the biggest issues facing the distribution industry. The advances made by Cole’s team at DHISCO were recently recognized by one of its largest clients, Amadeus, a leading GDS. DHISCO received Amadeus’s Silver Award for improving the quality of the descriptive content offered by hotels across its distribution channel as well as efforts to encourage the development of multilingual content. “We are pleased to have an expert like Cole on our team and see her work honored for solving the conundrum of adapting content between supplier source and demand consumption,” Portmann said. Cole joined DHISCO last year. With more than 20 years’ experience, she has executed targeted business initiatives successfully for Wyndham Hotel Group, Hilton Worldwide, Sabre and American Airlines and is an expert at leveraging distribution technology to develop compelling customer experiences.
