NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2017 — Denihan Hospitality, an independent owner and operator of boutique hotels in top U.S. urban markets, announced new leadership at The James Chicago, appointing General Manager, Paul Cardona and Director of Sales, Von Fabella to join the team. Earlier this Spring, The James Chicago underwent a lobby renovation, re-designed by Dufner Heighes, to bring a mindfully modern and fresh perspective to the property, including locally curated artists. The James Chicago have on-boarded skilled and like-minded professionals like Mr. Cardona and Mr. Fabella to enhance and continue to improve the James overall brand, with today's traveler in mind.

As former General Manager for Le Meridien Chicago – Oakbrook Center, Mr. Cardona brings outstanding performance skills with an impressive portfolio of achieved milestones in hospitality management. Mr. Cardona has also managed operations execution of multiple upscale Le Meridienand Luxury Collection hotels. Previous lifestyle properties include SLS, Soho Beach House and Park Hyatt Chicago where Mr. Cardona lead the team to achieve its single (1) Star Michelin rating for NoMi.

Adding new operational, sales, and marketing experience to the team, Mr. Fabella will lead The James Chicago's strategic sales initiatives. Mr. Fabella previously was the Director of Sales for properties including Hilton's HGI Chicago Riverwalk, Preferred Hotels and Resort's Kinzie Hotel, Marcus Hotels and Resorts, along with the Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Hotel. Excelling in redesigning sales operation procedures, Mr. Fabella will utilize his strong knowledge and experience to achieve aggressive revenue goals for The James Chicago. Fabella attended Colorado State University for Finance, and is a certified Meeting Professional.
