Situated in Islamorada, Cheeca Lodge & Spa is a tropical paradise, perfect for every type of getaway. The property worked with HeBS Digital to relaunch their website with the goals of improving user experience, increasing page visits and increasing both bookings and revenue from their desktop and mobile sites.  The result is a user-friendly, visually appealing newly launched site, optimized for the three screens and focused on driving direct bookings.

As a way of promoting the new site and generating user interest and awareness, the property launched a multichannel campaign with a Limited-Time Offer Interactive Application. After the site relaunch, Cheeca saw revenue increase by over 80%, among other substantial year-over-year improvements including:

  • Unique Visits: +36% YOY
  • Total Visits: +36% YOY
  • Bookings: +60% YOY
  • Room Nights: +83% YOY
  • Revenue: +80% YOY
     

The new site is a visual portal into the tropical retreat, featuring engaging elements such as full-page header images, a Social Wall that offers a glimpse of Cheeca’s social media activity, scrollable Events and Blog Post sections to promote engagement with robust content, a Rooms Showcase for easy exploration of on-site accommodations and a Points of Interest map that allows visitors to familiarize themselves with area attractions. Additional elements of the new site work to increase user interaction and drive bookings without disrupting the enhanced user experience, including:

  • Sticky Masthead to allow the Booking Widget to scroll with the user
  • Custom Marketing Message Tiles
  • Custom Promo Tiles to provide further information and call-to-action buttons
  • Clickable Mobile Site Special Offers
  • Click-To-Call Mobile Function on Masthead and within Booking Widget
