Team Adds Executive Recruiters in Five Markets

ATLANTA, GA – January 25, 2017 – As a division of the Carver Companies, Carver-Olson Hospitality Search is pleased to announce continued growth with the addition of five executive recruiters located throughout the U.S. The team can provide a 360 degree-support to clients’ human capital needs. Part of this strategic growth is to identify “hubs” or centers where Carver has an executive recruiting office combined with a market manager to support Carver World Temps (CWT), the division that provides hourly temporary staffing to hotels and resorts.

With more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, Jay Shaughnessy has worked in various management capacities in restaurants, hotel casinos, cruise ships, hotels, and resorts throughout the country. From his experience, Shauhnessy developed a passion for human resources and recruiting. Finding the right candidate to fit the team and vision is always his goal when working on searches.

Most recently (Jan. 2016), he worked as a recruiter with both Task Force and Permanent Placement for Carver Hotel Group and Carver-Olson Executive Search. Shaughnessy is based in Roswell, GA.

Located in the Northeast, Jennifer Croce has 20 years of combined experience that includes working in various positions within hotels, clubs, resorts and casinos. She brings to Carver a broad-based perspective to recruiting as her career has been based in operations from food and beverage to sales to general manager/chief operating officer positions. Along with her passion for the industry, Croce brings a thorough knowledge of the inner workings of a property, an understanding of the personalities within those properties and an extensive network of nationwide candidates she’s worked with in the past.

Based in the Chicago area, Nick Katinos comes to Carver Olson with more than 20 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. He started while attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI studying hospitality administration and working with hotel groups such as Hyatt, Starwood, IHG, Choice, and independent properties. With his extensive background in operations, Katinos has experience in luxury, select service, full service, resort and gaming hotels, which provides him the perfect balance of understanding the importance of executing on objectives and building relationships in his current role.

Carla Duval has an extensive hospitality career with more than 20 years in sales and marketing for hotels and resorts. With her prior experience as a Carver Hotel Group Task Force consultant, Duval is now contributing that expertise to the Carver- Olson Search team. She has lived and worked in different regions of the country. Based in Dallas, TX, Duval’s passion for working with people is the perfect match for her role in the talent acquisition process.

With 14 years of combined experience recruiting talent in the healthcare and hospitality industries, Lynette Cross brings to Carver her valuable client perspective. She was an integral part of the corporate talent acquisition team with Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Located in Sioux Falls, SD, Cross not only provides her expertise in placing quality talent, but also exudes a passion for finding the best candidates in the industry.
