(Oct. 13, 2016) – Jim Haughney, a seasoned leader in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years, has been appointed as the General Manager at Waterstone Resort & Marina, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, an art-deco inspired, waterfront, AAA four-diamond resort with sophisticated coastal design located in Boca Raton, Fla. Haughney will dedicate his talents to bringing the 139-room resort to a new level of intuitive hospitality, authentic service and revenue growth.

Haughney’s vast resort management experience includes almost 20 years with Hilton Hotels. He has worked with The Griffin Group (Merv Griffin), Interstate Hotels and Resorts, Crescent Hotels and Resorts, and most recently served as Vice President of Operations with Orange Lake Resorts in Florida. Haughney began is career in the hospitality industry at the Waldorf Astoria in New York in food and beverage before moving on to hold multiple general manager positions in the Southeast.
