Norcross, GA (November 9, 2016) – To meet the needs of today’s mobile, posting, streaming and gaming family travelers, Great Wolf Resorts has upgraded its system network from the guest room to the water park. Recently, Blueprint RF installed a top-of-the line, Cisco® Enterprise-Grade Network in 10 Great Wolf Lodge Resorts.

Providing coverage across the expansive family destination resorts required Blueprint RF to install more than 960 Cisco Aironet™ Series access points and controllers that support the latest Wi-Fi Standard and are capable of delivering speeds of over 1 gigabit wirelessly. The installation also included 10-gigabit switches and other state-of-the-art network equipment throughout the properties. The new networks serve more than 7,800 guest rooms, indoor and outdoor water parks, and common areas located in Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

“Arguably, Great Wolf Resorts hosts some of the most demanding network users on the planet, kids,” says Rajiv Castellino, Great Wolf Resorts’ CIO. “Our young guests access every form of social media, online gaming, video streaming and sharing, and all at the same time. It’s a digital consumption trend we monitor very closely here. That’s why we reached out to Blueprint RF and Cisco to provide the very best in guest connectivity solutions available.”

“Blueprint RF understands the importance technology plays in the life of younger guests and designed a robust network to meet the demand of Great Wolf Resorts’ guests,” said Ron Peterson, Blueprint RF CEO. “We have integrated powerful Cisco network monitoring tools such as Cisco Prime®, where we can capture access point and connecting device information, and actual RF imaging, in real time. It’s a strong advantage for supporting a very demanding network.”

“Having a robust Wi-Fi infrastructure is a critical element to deliver a differentiated guest experience in the hospitality sector,” said Ed Jimenez, director of Cisco’s Digital Transformation Hospitality Practice. “Cisco has become the leading platform for enabling secure, manageable and scalable digital experiences. All of this allows Great Wolf Resorts to deliver the connected experiences today’s guests and their kids demand.”

In addition to the Cisco system network, Great Wolf Resorts will take advantage of Blueprint RF’s permissions proprietary interactive web-based network Dashboard that presents critical performance metrics in an easy to use, easy to understand format.
