Eschborn, Germany (December 8, 2016) – Best Western® Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Germany: In September, three former Balladins hotels in Mannheim, Sindelfingen and Neu-Isenburg have already joined the brand. Five further hotels, which are also managed by the GCH Hotel Group based in Berlin/Germany, will follow until the end of the year and will be integrated into the world's largest group of individual hotels. The additional destinations in Germany are Troisdorf, Dortmund, Bremen, Braunschweig and Peine. The eight new hotels will provide a total number of 1,023 rooms. Before the brand conversion, all former Balladins hotels have been modernized and renovated.

Due to the eight new hotels the group's portfolio in Germany will increase to 205 hotels and more than 20,300 rooms by the end of the year. The number of Best Western hotels in the Central European region – which includes Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland – reaches approximately 240 with more than 24,000 rooms.

Here are the details about the new hotels in Germany:

Best Western Hotel Mannheim City, Mannheim The Best Western Hotel Mannheim City has 162 rooms, a bar and a restaurant with a summer terrace facing the courtyard. Its restaurant has 80 seats with a strong focus on regional food. The three-star hotel has been modernized and partially renovated in the last months.

Best Western Hotel Sindelfingen City, Sindelfingen The four-star Best Western Hotel in Sindelfingen has 135 rooms and offers two flexible meeting rooms for up to 100 people. A bar area with 40 seats completes the offer. This hotel was completely renovated before joining the brand.

Best Western Hotel Frankfurt Airport Neu-Isenburg, Neu-Isenburg The Best Western Hotel Frankfurt Airport in Neu-Isenburg offers 222 rooms, as well as a panoramic restaurant with views of the skyline of Frankfurt on the 19th floor. There is also a gym available. The hotel has been renovated in the past few months.

Best Western Hotel Bremen East, Bremen Conveniently located in the German city of Bremen, the Best Western Hotel Bremen East offers 144 rooms as well as eight meeting and event rooms for up to 340 people. A breakfast room, a bistro, bar and parking facilities for cars and buses complete the hotel’s amenities.

Best Western Hotel Dortmund Airport, Dortmund The Best Western Hotel Dortmund Airport is located in the east of Dortmund, close to the Dortmund Airport. The four-star hotel has 96 rooms, as well as nine meeting rooms for up to 300 people. Guests can enjoy a drink in the hotel bar or on the summer terrace. 140 parking lots are available adjacent to the building and in the underground car park.

Best Western Hotel Cologne Airport Troisdorf, Troisdorf The Best Western Hotel Cologne Airport Troisdorf offers its guests 88 rooms, as well as four meeting rooms. The city center and train station of Troisdorf are located three kilometers from the hotel, while the Cologne-Bonn Airport is within 15 minutes' drive. In addition, the four-star hotel offers a restaurant and a hotel bar.

Best Western Hotel Braunschweig Seminarius, Braunschweig This hotel in the north of Braunschweig, located eight kilometers from the city center, has 78 rooms, a fitness and wellness area. The restaurant offers snacks and a number of menus. Outside, there is a beer garden with 80 seats. Guests can also access eight meeting rooms for up to 120 people. For leisure time, a tennis court with four indoor and three sandparks and bowling alleys are available.

Best Western Hotel Peine-Salzgitter, Peine Located in Peine, between the cities of Wolfsburg, Braunschweig, Hildesheim and Hanover, the Best Western Hotel Peine-Salzgitter offers 98 rooms, as well as two meeting rooms for up to 50 people. The distance to the Hannover fair is 40 kilometers, the exhibition grounds of Braunschweig are 30 kilometers away. There is an on-site restaurant, serving regional and international cuisine, and a hotel bar.
