The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, November 2015 … Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Chad R. Olson general manager for Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa, a Personal Luxury property located in Vero Beach, Florida.  Rikki Boparai, managing director of Benchmark’s Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels collection of Florida, made the announcement.

“I am delighted to welcome Chad to Benchmark Hospitality and to our ocean-side resort,” said Mr. Boparai.  “He brings vast experience in running luxury properties within top destinations to his new position.  We look forward to his leadership of this remarkable resort.”

Chad Olson was previously general manager for Villa Florence, a luxury property located in the heart of San Francisco, California. He served in the same position prior to this for Joie de Vivre Hospitality Hotels, including at the Hotel Adagio of San Francisco, the Harvest Inn of St. Helena, California, and the Commodore Hotel, also located in San Francisco.

Mr. Olson is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hospitality and Restaurant Foundation of San Francisco, and the Board of Directors of Art for Life of Clayton, California. 

He attended Diablo Valley College of Concord, California, where he earned his Hotel Management Certification.  He is relocating to the Vero Beach area.
