The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, August 7, 2013 … Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Sara Sullivan vice president, owner advisory group, for Benchmark's asset management business.  Alex Cabañas, Benchmark's president, business development & finance, made the announcement.  Ms. Sullivan will be based in Benchmark's Home Office in The Woodlands, Texas, near Houston.

"It is a pleasure to welcome Sara to Benchmark Hospitality International," said Mr. Cabañas.  "She comes to us with great depth of experience and a myriad of business relationships in place that will actively support Benchmark's global growth goals.  Sara's leadership combined with Benchmark's operating expertise make for a unique offering in hospitality asset management."

Sara Sullivan previously held the dual titles of vice president of real estate investment & asset management and vice president corporate finance for Sage Hospitality Resources of Denver.  Prior to this she served as vice president of corporate finance and director of financial planning and analysis for East West Partners of Vail, Colorado.  Earlier in her career, Ms. Sullivan was employed in the pharmaceutical and financial accounting industries.

Ms. Sullivan is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  Ms. Sullivan and her family are relocating to The Woodlands.
