Benchmark Hospitality International Named a "Best Place to Work" in Houston

Benchmark Hospitality International placed 34th out of 106 companies included in the Best Places survey, which considered businesses of at least 10 to 100 full-time employees. Companies don't just appear on the list; rather employees must first nominate their employer and then support the nomination with answers to a confidential survey managed by Quantum Workplace. Questions address issues such as leadership, corporate goals, communication and support, advancement opportunities and skill development. Additional issues measured are recognition and compensation programs, workplace tolerance, flexibility and embracing innovation and new ideas brought forward by employees.
The Houston job market is strong and highly competitive and retaining top talent is a key objective for every employer. Achieving the Best Places to Work list is a coveted goal for many corporations like Benchmark Hospitality International looking to develop their employees and attract additional top talent to support future growth.
Benchmark Hospitality International was founded by Burt Cabañas, Chairman & CEO, in 1980 and today operates 40 hotels, resorts and conference centers across the U.S., in the Caribbean and Japan. The privately-owned company reported system-wide revenues of $505 Million last year. It projects a doubling of growth in the next decade.
