Farmington, Pa. (February 9, 2016) – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Campsey as Chief Financial Officer.

Campsey brings to the position more than 15 years of financial managerial experience in the hospitality industry. He will oversee Nemacolin’s financial and accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, and the financial reporting for the 2,000 acre resort. Campsey will also be responsible for the resort’s IT and Purchasing departments.

Prior to his appointment at Nemacolin, Campsey was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Hilton Head Health Weight Loss Resort and Wellness Spa in South Carolina. He oversaw the launch of the hotel’s spa and the rebranding of other facilities.

Before that, he served as Director of Finance at Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, North Carolina, which was ranked as a top hotel in North America by Travel + Leisure in 2012. The hotel was awarded its current designations of AAA Five-Star and Forbes Five-Diamond during his second year there. Campsey was also Director of Finance at Canyon Ranch spa resort in Tucson, Arizona, and served in other financial roles at its Lenox, Massachusetts, location.

A Certified Public Accountant, Campsey earned his MBA from the Eller School of Management at the University of Arizona and is a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive.
