With a background in DAS and wireless environments, Sanders will educate hoteliers on the differences between Wi-Fi and Cellular and the impact an inadequate Cellular Network has on guest satisfaction

Boston, Mass. — February 11, 2016 — Growing at a blistering speed, RoamBOOST continues to expand its sales team. Today, Alyssa Sanders joins hospitality’s leading provider of scalable Distributed Antenna Systems as West Coast Regional VP of Sales. In her new role, Sanders will introduce the RoamBOOST DAS to hotels plagued with poor or non-existent cellular phone service. The company assembles and installs cellular boosters indoors and outdoors to amplify signals between buildings and carriers' towers.

“Demand for RoamBOOST is on a continual rise,” said RoamBOOST VP of Operations Pam Angelucci. “In the last year, we have doubled our staff, and 2016 shows no signs of slowing. It’s for this reason that we recruited Alyssa to help us expand our presence from Washington to Montana in the upper northwest, and from California to New Mexico and everywhere in between. She is a proven sales and human-resources professional with a strong background in the wireless industry. We are confident that Alyssa is the right person to help us educate hoteliers on the importance of implementing a network infrastructure that balances Wi-Fi and Cellular (3G voice and 4G/LTE Data). Selecting the right type of DAS can be a daunting task; Alyssa, with her vast knowledge of DAS and cellular networks, will help to make the selection process easy. We welcome her aboard.”

Prior to joining RoamBOOST, Sanders worked as director of business development for ARQ Wireless where she was responsible for growing the company’s DAS and Wi-Fi business, primarily among tier-1 and tier-2 accounts across the U.S. She also worked as a Human Resources Director and Business Development manager for Solutelia LLC, also a wireless and DAS provider. Not only was she responsible for growing the Solutelia business, but she also managed all internal and external recruiting and the new hire processes. At RoamBOOST, Sanders will oversee the West Coast sales operation from an office in Denver, Colo.

“Joining RoamBOOST is a tremendous opportunity,” Sanders said. “While I look forward to helping drive the company’s ongoing growth and success, I am more eager to meet hoteliers one-on-one to explain the dynamics of today’s cellular network environment. Travelers expect to have lightning-fast speeds to connect to the Internet no matter where they are on property, and the same holds true when they want to make calls or access data from their mobile phones. Hoteliers get that; what they don’t understand is the differences between Wi-Fi and Cellular. Wi-Fi in a hotel will enable guests to access the Internet, but Wi-Fi calling is a different subject – and it’s here where hotels are failing to meet mobile user needs.

“The only way to eliminate guest complaints regarding inadequate cellular coverage and improve guest loyalty is to provide a safe and reliable cellular infrastructure,” she said. “This is where RoamBOOST can help. I look forward to meeting this new challenge head on and working closely with the industry’s dedicated hoteliers across this territory.”
