Stephen P. Taylor, CHA has spent more than 25 years in all phases of the hospitality industry. His experiences in marketing and managing hotels, and executing special projects provide a broad-based  background,  which  is invaluable to clients of the 
TAYLORGROUP. 

With  experience from sales and marketing at the property level through regional and  corporate  Marketing positions,  and  having  served  as President and CEO of a national hotel management company, Steve Taylor is the consummate industry professional. Corporate  affiliations  include  the Michael Andretti & Mike Piazza Sports' Cafe',   Brookshire   Hotels,   Inc., Westbrooke  Hotels,  Rodeway  Inns International, Pick Americana Hotels, Hilton and Sheraton. 

Steve is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), and serves as contributing editor to Lodging HospitaIity magazine, and is a frequent speaker and panel member at hotel industry meetings, conferences and conventions. 

Known throughout the industry for his exceptional ability to develop specialized  marketing  strategies,  to implement effective sales methods, to resolve problem  situations,  Steve effectively motivates others on all levels in achieving individual and corporate goals.

Established an out-sourced, national sales system when this 750-unit division of Accor was entering the franchise arena. 

CENDANT FRANCHISE SYSTEMS, INC.  
Multiple assignments including various property troubleshooting projects, development of low-barrier to entry, low-cost chain-wide restaurant conversion concept. 

MANHATTAN SAVINGS BANK. 
(Republic) Reopened and operated failed asset in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, contemplating  permanent shutdown. Strategic plan to re-open the property with a marketing turn-around and satisfactory disposition. 

SENERCOMM. 
(High-tech guest room energy controls manufacturer.) Comprehensive strategic planning / marketing campaign.  Consulted and acted as Director of Marketing during a four month assignment.  Developed marketing strategies, overhauled all aspects of corporate identity, PR, sales' operations, created Mission Statement.
