Claims Department

Background:

Aon Hospitality has a full-time claims staff with specialists devoted specifically to the discipline of property and casualty. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff has over 15 years experience in handling claims. This experience and knowledge is essential in our role as facilitator, expeditor, and mediator in the management of our clients' claims.

Capabilities:

Assist the policyholder in all aspects of the claims process, from the initial loss to the final settlement.
Establish a claims file for every policyholder loss, notify the proper carriers, and monitor the adjustment process.
Act as a liaison between the policyholder and carrier while evaluating the coverage issues and possible liability exposures.
Prepare loss runs for policyholders to include claims status and reserves.
Submit timely reports and analyze coverage when policyholders are served with lawsuits.
On large losses, Aon Hospitality personnel visit the loss site to work with the policyholder and insurance adjustor in determining the scope of damage, repairs, possible business interruptions, and resolve any coverage issues.
Assist in bringing all first-party and third-party claims to a timely settlement.
The claims department works closely with our engineering and safety consultants in a claims situation where loss investigation and analysis are important to the negotiations with insurers and to the development of future loss prevention programs.
