As general manager, Penning will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations at the resort, including the pending integration of restaurant operations under New Castle management.
 

Prior to joining New Castle Hotels, Penning was general manager of the Otsego Club and Resort, which included a boutique hotel, casino resort development, four golf courses, alpine and Nordic ski areas, five restaurants, six lounges, a private country club, 15,000-square-foot conference center and an 800-unit upscale residential real estate development.  Other career highlights include managerial work with the Hummert Management Group, Marriott Corporation and TGI Fridays.
