 Jeff Wagoner To Lead Operations For 
Over 100 Wyndham Properties
Appointed as SVP of Hotel/Garden Operations
DALLAS - Dec. 19, 2000 - Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN) today announced the appointment of Jeff Wagoner to senior vice president of hotel/garden hotel operations. In his new position, Wagoner will be responsible for leading the operational organization for over 100 Wyndham Hotels and Wyndham Garden Hotels throughout North America, while maximizing revenue opportunities and developing consistent product quality service standards. He will report to Ted Teng, president and chief operating officer of Wyndham International.

�With over 20 years of hotel experience, the operational knowledge and expertise that Jeff brings to Wyndham�s executive team as well as the company is invaluable. The key professional qualities that put Jeff at the forefront to fill this position was his prior experience in operating multiple hotel properties as well as his contribution in developing and maintaining consistent brand integrity, ensuring the best possible hotel experience for our guests,� said Teng.

Prior to his appointment, Wagoner, age 41, was senior vice president of brand programs, responsible for numerous innovative branding initiatives including the Wyndham ByRequest frequent guest program and Wyndham�s Room That Performs brand standards initiative. Other responsibilities included the oversight of all rooms operations at Wyndham-branded hotels and resorts.
�Jeff�s new appointment completes Wyndham�s operations reconfiguration. Our five new operations profit centers (Hotels/Gardens, Resorts, Summerfield Suites by Wyndham, Performance Hospitality Management and Asset Management) are led by some of the most able hotel personnel in the industry,� added Teng.

Wagoner began his hotel career with Marriott in 1978 in the rooms operations division. In 1984 he joined Wyndham in various management positions including the general manager of the former Wyndham Warwick in Houston. Wagoner later accepted the position of area managing director with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1997 where he was responsible for multiple hotel properties located in the south. In 1998, Wagoner returned to Wyndham as regional vice president of operations based at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel in Houston.

Based in Dallas, Wyndham International owns, leases, manages and franchises hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
