Ramesys Acquires Saturn Network Services
Edison, NJ September 20, 2000 - Ramesys, the stock exchange bound IT solutions provider, today announced its acquisition of Saturn Network Services and John Clarke Computing for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will further strengthen Ramesys position as a provider of travel management solutions.  It extends the companys product line from complete agency management systems to SABS, a revolutionary new way of booking holidays and flights.

SABS (Saturn Automated Booking System) bridges the gap between the current Viewdata system and the Internet to provide a search and booking tool that can access all the major UK vacation and flight operators.  It gives details of up to 500 available vacations in seconds a task that currently takes agents hours to achieve.

This acquisition greatly strengthens our leading position in travel management solutions. The current travel reservation system can be a source of frustrating delays and lost business and agents are crying out for a product with the performance of SABS, which will make their operations both cost effective and more efficient, says Ashvin Pathak, Managing Director of Ramesys Travel.

This is the latest buy for Ramesys, which has been on the acquisition trail since its inception.  Recent purchases include MCORP, the US based supplier of property management systems to the hospitality market in June this year, and The Data Base, the Internet and infrastructure solutions provider, in January last year.
