Ilan Waisbrod Designing a 400 seat Michael Jordan�s 
- The Steak House at Mohegan Sun

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2000 - It was announced today that Michael Jordan�s popular Steak House and Michael Jordan�s 23 will open in the fall of 2001 at Mohegan Sun, the legendary entertainment and gaming destination in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Under the agreement between Jump Higher, L.L.C. of Chicago and Mohegan Sun, Michael Jordan�s - The Steak House and Michael Jordan�s 23 will occupy a combined 14,500 square feet of space and seat approximately 400 patrons in the new retail/dining complex, The Shops at Mohegan Sun, due to open in October 2001 as part of Mohegan Sun�s four-million-sq.-ft. �Project Sunburst� expansion.  The restaurants will enjoy prime locations near a 1,200-room luxury hotel tower and meeting facilities that are slated for completion in spring 2002.

The Michael Jordan restaurants are the first of nine exciting new dining establishments planned as part of �Project Sunburst�, the largest private development on the East Coast.

The latest agreement also marks a major step in the development of the basketball great�s restaurant interests, which currently include other versions of Michael Jordan�s - The Steak House N.Y.C., located in historic Grand Central Station, and Michael Jordan�s 23 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Award-winning architect Ilan Waisbrod of Studio GAIA in New York will design the Michael Jordan restaurants at Mohegan Sun.  The Israeli-born Waisbrod and his Studio GAIA have won accolades for their work on such chic Manhattan restaurants as Republic, Cafeteria and Bond Street.  Waisbrod�s Studio GAIA also designed Michael Jordan�s 23 in Chapel Hill.

Michael Jordan�s - The Steak House at Mohegan Sun will offer world-class steaks in a contemporary world-class setting that reflects Michael�s refined, masculine sense of style.

The arena-shaped Michael Jordan�s 23 will evoke the excitement of center court.  An all-American grill, Michael Jordan�s 23 will feature large stretched-fabric screens featuring highlights from Michael Jordan�s basketball career.
