Hostmark Hospitality Group Names Philippe Fontanelli
General Manager of The Montauk Yacht Club 

Montauk, New York, September 21, 2000-Hostmark Hospitality Group, one of the nation�s largest independent third party hospitality management firms, today announced the appointment of Philippe J. Fontanelli as General Manager of the newly renovated Montauk Yacht Club Resort and Marina, Montauk, New York.  In his new position Fontanelli will be responsible for the hotel�s daily operations as well as the property�s economic development and expansion.

A 30-year veteran of the industry, Fontanelli began his career in hospitality when he was in his teens. He received his degree from Ecole Lemania and Ecole Hoteliere in Lausanne, Switzerland as well as a specialized advanced degree, Thonon les-Bains, France.

Prior to joining Hostmark, Fontanelli served as General Manager at Ocean Cliff Hotel and Resort in Newport, Rhode Island.  He has also served as an adjunct professor of hospitality management at Nova University, Miami, Florida.

The Montauk Yacht Club features 84 resort guest rooms as well as 23 oversized rooms in waterfront villas. The recent renovation of the elegant and relaxed property included upgrading bathrooms, light fixtures, and carpeting and installing computer data ports in all guest rooms.
