The one-of-a-kind cookbook reflects FelCor�s company culture of doing things in an �unordinary� way.  Accordingly, the cookbook features recognizable dishes as well as recipes that are unique and outrageous such as �Hobo Fried Chicken� and �One-Armed Doves.�  In addition, more than 30 original creations were submitted from professional chefs located at FelCor-owned hotels including, �Lobster and Foie Gras Club Sandwich with Michigan Sweet Apple Butter� from Chef Christopher Ala of the Allerton Crowne Plaza in Chicago, Ill., and �Roasted Beet and Asparagus Salad with Maytag Blue, Classic Dijon Vinaigrette & Moroccan Spiced Almonds,� from award-winning Executive Chef Danielle Custer of Laurels Restaurant at the Westin Park Central hotel in Dallas, Texas.

�Since 1996, our Company has been committed to the fight against juvenile diabetes,� said Thomas J. Corcoran, Jr., FelCor�s President and CEO.  �In addition to our annual participation in the Walk to Cure Diabetes in Dallas, we also decided to create a unique cookbook that would complement FelCor�s ongoing commitment to JDF.�

For the last four years, FelCor has raised more than $250,000 for the Dallas chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and had more than 700 corporate and hotel employees participate in the JDF�s annual Walk To Cure Diabetes.  FelCor also has earned the distinction of being #37 on the list of the Top 100 National Walk Teams for JDF and the largest corporate team fundraiser for JDF�s Dallas chapter.
