Commenting on the new service, David Krischer, the Company�s Chief Executive Officer, said, �Suburban Lodges has always been at the forefront of new technology, and providing high-speed Internet access to our guests continues that tradition. We are already receiving much interest in this service at our Sandy Springs hotel and are pleased with the guest response.� 

The Company is currently working with three providers: Cais Internet of Washington, D.C., Stay On Line, a division of e-Centre, Inc. of Georgia and Wayport, Inc. of Texas.

In a few of the Company�s hotels the provider will install web appliances (stripped - down computers) in each wired guestroom so that guests can simply press the �on� switch on the appliance to instantaneously connect to the Internet. 

While the primary objective of adding this new service is to provide a valuable guest amenity, Mr. Krischer noted that the company will also benefit, to some degree, from revenue sharing with the providers and, to a greater degree, from high-speed access to the Company�s property management system. �We are one of the few hotel companies to access real-time hotel data via the Internet,� said Mr. Krischer. �This new service will further facilitate the new ASP property management system that our vendor, HotelTools, Inc., has announced it will roll out later this year.� High-speed Internet connections allow users to access web data quickly and eliminate lengthy downloads. 

Suburban Lodges of America, Inc. owns, franchises and manages Suburban Lodge hotels, the nation�s largest chain of economy extended-stay hotels, and franchises GuestHouse International hotels, the mid-market nightly stay hotel chain with the franchisee-friendly franchise agreement.
