Columbia Lakes Resort in West Columbia, Texas
Installing iNEThotel for Guest Connectivity and
Property to Management Company Communications

Minneapolis, MN, August 17, 2000 . . . sentr@NETSM, LLC today announced it has been selected by Jerry J. Moore Investments to build, install and maintain a multi-purpose communications network that provides high-speed Internet access for guest and meeting rooms and on-line connectivity between the company's headquarters Houston, Texas, and the Columbia Lakes Resort in West Columbia, Texas.

The iNEThotelSM network from sentr@NET uses industry-leading technology at the property level to provide high-speed Internet access using existing wiring (only a single pair required) to carry both voice and data from guest rooms and meeting rooms. The same network infrastructure incorporates the property's back office to provide hotel staff a private connection to the Internet and to corporate headquarters.  iNEThotel uses the guaranteed bandwidth of an AT&T frame relay network to provide guests and hotel staff a high-speed connection to the Worldcom/UUNET Internet backbone, and to provide a private property-to-management company wide area network (WAN) that is independent of the Internet. This WAN delivers a committed information rate, scalability, and reliability that enables management companies to implement centralized and shared applications plus company-wide communications on a secure and private network.

"Our iNEThotel network is a perfect complement to the Columbia Lake Resorts large volume of company meetings and corporate retreats, said Ian Mackay, President and Chief Executive Officer of sentr@NET.  "High-speed Internet connections in guest and meeting rooms will add value and compliment their prime location, services/amenities, and highly regarded conference facilities as reasons to choose Columbia Lakes Resort.

sentr@NET's iNEThotel will allow us to provide our guests with the convenient, reliable,  high-speed Internet access they demand, while at the same time providing us with a state-of-the-art, secure data network between our corporate offices and the resort, said Bill Corrigan of Jerry J. Moore Investments.  "Meeting guest demand is our number one priority and we pride ourselves in being the first in a number of our markets to offer this increasingly important amenity."

The flexibility of iNEThotel networks is reflected also in the business plans offered to hotel management companies, franchisers, franchisees and owners.  Offering zero-cost revenue-sharing programs to flat-fee programs, sentr@NET allows in-term contract adjustments to meet competitive and technology changes.  All iNEThotel networks include ongoing marketing support; property-specific Web site development, advertising programs, 24 x 7 guest and staff help lines and 24 x 7 network management and maintenance.
