Matamoras, Pennsylvania�s Inn At Hunt�s Landing 
Sold for 7.5 million
San Antonio Comfort Inn Also Sold
New York, NY - May 11, 2000 - Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners has completed the sale of the 108-room Best Western Inn at Hunt�s Landing, located in Matamoras, Pennsylvania.  
 
The Inn at Hunt�s Landing was acquired by a private investor for $7,510,000, or approximately $70,000 per room.  Paul Fitzpatrick, senior managing director in the New York office of Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners, represented the seller, Hunt & Hunt, in this transaction.

The Best Western Inn at Hunt�s Landing sits on 30± scenic acres abutting the Delaware River, across from the New York and New Jersey state borders. 

The Inn at Hunt�s Landing

The property is a full-service destination hotel, with substantial indoor and outdoor meeting and events space, catering largely to motorcoach tours and wedding and special events business.  The property also accommodates highway-related leisure and corporate demand off Interstate 84. 

Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners also completed the sale of the 203-room Comfort Inn, located in San Antonio, Texas.  

The Comfort Inn was acquired by SATC Hospitality, Inc. for an undisclosed price.  Robert Taylor and Bert Stevens, of the Atlanta and Dallas offices of
Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners, represented the seller, Lodgian, Inc., in this transaction.  The sale was completed in less than three months from listing to closing.

The Comfort Inn is located at the intersection of Interstate 410 and Perrin-Beitel Road.  The new owners will retain the Comfort  Inn flag, and are planning approximately $700,000 in renovations to the hotel.  A leased Denny�s Restaurant adjacent to the Comfort Inn was included in the sale.
