Majestic Realty Co. Appoints Dolce International as Management Company for Industry Hills Sheraton
Resort & Conference Center
MONTVALE, NEW JERSEY (May 12, 2000). Majestic Realty Co. President Edward P. Roski Jr. has selected renowned conference center management company Dolce International to manage the Industry Hills Sheraton Resort & Conference Center effective immediately. The management change, coupled with extensive capital improvements to the resort, is part of an aggressive plan to reposition the property as the premier dedicated conference resort in Southern California.

Said Roski, The success of Industry Hills depends largely on our ability to provide both the San Gabriel Valley and the Los Angeles area with superior conference facilities for their offsite meetings. Dolce International, which manages 14 properties internationally, brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and resources in this niche of the hospitality industry. Furthermore, their company culture is one that celebrates an entrepreneurial spirit while providing both personal and professional growth for their associates. We look forward to a long and successful relationship.

Continues Dolce International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Dolce, The proposed changes to the resorts 294 guest rooms, the addition of a dedicated conference wing and business center, and the complete overhaul of the communications technology throughout the facility, when combined with its two existing championship golf courses, will position the Industry Hills Sheraton Resort & Conference Center as the largest, year-round conference resort in Southern California approved by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).  Considering the propertys proximity to the three major Los Angeles airports and its extensive resort amenities, Industry Hills Resort and Conference Center will be a great destination for meetings. Moving forward our Company will concentrate on cultivating strong relationships with the local community, clients, and property associates.  Their knowledge of the region and property will be very important as we expand the business throughout California and the United States.

Dolce International President and Chief Operating Officer Andrew MacLellan named Patrick W. OBrien as the resorts new General Manager on April 24, 2000. OBrien brings 22 years of experience with Westin Hotels & Resorts including numerous corporate and general manager positions at Westin properties throughout the United States. He also served as the Vice President of Catering for United Airlines and as Senior Vice President of Forte/Le Meridien Hotels responsible for the companys 20 owned and managed properties in North, South and Central America.

Set on 650 acres in the scenic San Gabriel Valley, Industry Hills Sheraton Resort and Conference Center features 294 guest rooms and suites and 20,000 square feet of meeting space. In addition to the two championship golf courses that have been ranked among the top 25 in the country by Golf Digest, the resort includes 17 lighted tennis courts with stadium seating for 2,100 and an Olympic-size swim complex offering 50-meter lanes, 25-meter lanes and three-level competition diving boards.
