In both ventures, TravelNow is seeking to capitalize on the rapidly expanding markets for online travel services outside the United States.

Jim Oliver, former Managing Director & Director of Marketing for SABRE Travel Information Network, Europe, Middle East & Africa, will be exploring options for TravelNow�s introduction into the European online travel market.  �There is an overwhelming opportunity for new online travel initiatives in the European marketplace. With TravelNow considering the acquisition of existing travel websites, we are convinced the venture will be a success,� stated Oliver.

According to chief executive, Jeff Wasson, TravelNow has launched www.travelnowjapan.com  to begin positioning itself in the online travel services sector in Asia.  The team at TravelNowJapan.com will eventually establish its own customer service center, while the website traffic will still be maintained by the servers in the United States.

Additional expansions in the United States include:

• J.D. Bryant, formerly Director of Sales at SABRE Travel Information Network, was appointed Vice President of Business Development and will focus on technology sales out of the TravelNow headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.
• Michael Bauer, formerly of Ambassadors Performance Group and Walt Disney, was named Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Springfield.
• Erik Rothchild, formerly Sales Director of GoRacing.com, was selected as Advertising Sales Manager.  He will be initially based in Phoenix, Arizona, and will eventually make the transition to the Springfield, MO office of TravelNow.com.
• Amy Tindle, named new Manager of Human Resources and Benefits in the Springfield office, spent 5 years at TCI in Missouri.
• Office space at the TravelNow headquarters in Springfield doubled to 10,000 square feet in April 2000 to accommodate the growth of the customer service and technical development staff.
