The lodge is estimated to employ over 200 people which will make it one of the five largest employers in the Valley.  Bed taxes for the first year of operation should exceed one million dollars for the City of Sonoma, or 20% of the City�s current general fund budget. Sales and property taxes are estimated to bring in another $200,000 for the City annually.

Taking a Closer Look At The Lodge At Sonoma

The Lodge at Sonoma is one of the biggest new developments in Sonoma County, one that the local Sonoma developers Barbara Thomas and Art Chatham are very proud of. The $46 million dollar project will be managed by Renaissance Hotels and Spas.

The state-of-the-art conference center has been designed for corporate conferences and retreats. Over 11,000 square feet of space is available for meeting space. Space is broken down into three components: 3,080 sq. ft.  ballroom, and additional meeting spaces that feature 700 to 1,100 sq. ft. of space, and the 3,000 sq. ft. wine building.  In addition, The Lodge offers 11,000 square foot outdoor function space.  Not only is The Lodge at Sonoma perfect for meetings and group retreats, but it will also be perfect for weddings and other gatherings as well. Holding true to the essence of Sonoma County, the 7,500 sq. ft. Spa will employ the latest techniques in health, beauty and fitness for visitors. The Spa will include twelve indoor treatment rooms, four outdoor treatment rooms and two watsu pools.
Spa packages will include everything from facials to body scrubs, massages to manicures, and even a dip in one of the watsu pools for the cleansing one can only get with thermal mineral springs.
