ATLANTA (April 17, 2000) � Day Hospitality Group
(DHG) recently opened a Hampton Inn, the first hotel at the Mall of Georgia
north of Atlanta. The five story, 92-room hotel located directly
across the street from the regional mega-mall marks the 11th hotel developed
and managed by Peyton Day and Fred Cerrone, CEO and COO respectively of
Norcross-based Day Hospitality Group. Kathy Thomas serves as the General
Manager; Ryan McPhail serves as Assistant General Manager.

The new hotel fills a definite need.� Those participating in the Ribbon Cutting ceremony included Peyton Day, DHG Chairman and CEO, Fred Cerrone, DHG President and COO; Steve Crabill, Vice President, Franchise Operations, Hilton Hotel Corporation; Wayne Hill, Chairman, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners; Marci Davis, Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, Bob Harris Executive Director, Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau. and Kathy Thomas, General Manager of the hotel. The Hampton Inn hotel is geared to both business and leisure guests, who seek in-room amenities such as a desk with an ergonomic chair, telephone with data port and room-wide extension cord and a color television with free HBO and ESPN. Standard hotel amenities include a swimming pool and spa, meeting room,
exercise room, guest laundry, and complimentary continental breakfast served
in a spacious area lined with windows adjacent to the lobby. The
