at Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners San Francisco Office |
San Francisco, CA - March 31, 2000 - Insignia/ESG
Hotel Partners has appointed Robin Eberhart associate director in the firms
San Francisco office.
According to Lewis Miller, senior managing director and head of Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners, Ms. Eberhart will provide hotel real estate services in the Bay Area and throughout the Northwest US. Ms. Eberhart brings over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the firm, primarily in development and franchising. Most recently, she was a consultant providing development advisory services to clients in the hospitality industry. She has also held senior development positions for Promus Hotel Corporation and Choice Hotels International, and franchise and financial positions with Days Inns of America. According to Mr. Miller, Ms. Eberhart will bring her substantial experience to the increasingly active practice. In the last two years, the groups San Francisco office, under the leadership of Jeffrey Roe, has handled a number of hotel sales, including the Hilton Hotel in Concord, CA; the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento, CA; the Abigail Hotel and Laurel Motor Inn in San Francisco; the Days Inn in Emeryville, CA; the Ridpath Hotel in Spokane, WA; and the Tyee Hotel in Olympia, WA. Currently, the San Francisco office is marketing a full-service hotel in northern California, a Wine Country hotel development, and the Hampton Inn in Monterey Bay. The areas strong hotel market conditions indicate likely increases
in transactions and development activity, for which the firm is well positioned.
According to Mr. Roe, The Bay Area hotel market continues to be one of
strongest markets in the country. While growth in occupancy has leveled
off, average rate continues to increase ahead of inflation. The dot-com
revolution is fueling job growth and real estate values to heights not
experienced
Given the robust fundamentals, interest in hotels in the Bay Area is
growing. I expect to see increased activity in the hotel real estate
services front, and am excited to have Robin join me in servicing the hotel
industrys needs in the Bay Area and throughout the Northwest, with her
extensive hospitality industry experience and understanding of the regional
market.
