that it has hired Harry Mellon as Director of Learning Technologies to
head up the company’s computer-based training (CBT) and documentation department.
Harry will also launch Cyntergy’s new Web-based training (WBT) services.
Cyntergy is a leading provider of instructor-led training and implementation
services in the hospitality, foodservice and retail markets. Its
recent expansion of training services includes videoconferencing and satellite
downlinking at 40 U.S. training centers nationwide. Cyntergy is a CynterCorp
affiliated company.
Harry joins Cyntergy with over 15 years of experience in the analysis,
design and development of customized training products in all formats and
media. Most recently, he served as Program Manager and Senior Instructional
Designer for Star Mountain, Inc., a leader in the field of customized training
development. During his tenure, he managed several development teams
working on a variety of training products including videotape training
products and state-of-the-art interactive multimedia products such as CBT
and WBT.
