Hotel Portfolio Is Growing
 
LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA, FLORIDA, JUNE 14, 1999 � Summit Hotel Management Company is proud to announce the addition of the following hotels to its portfolio:
  • Best Western Motor Inn, Bowling Green, KY - 179 Rooms
  • Best Western North, Bowling Green, KY - 100 Rooms
  • Ramada Inn, Mt. Vernon, IL - 188 Rooms 
Further, Summit is in the process of building the Courtyard By Marriott® Hotel and Conference Center in Farmington, NM.  The construction crew broke ground on February 10, 1999 and expects to complete construction by the end of 1999, when the property will open.  

The Courtyard By Marriott® Hotel and Conference Center, Farmington, New Mexico will have 126 guest rooms.  The recreational facilities include indoor swimming, whirlpool spa, riverfront patio, library, lounge, restaurant, exercise room, and business services.  The convention center will have 5,000 square feet of modern meeting space, accommodating up to 400 people.

Farmington is the largest town in the New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado four corners area.  Farmington is also the regional center for many cultural activities and is the home of San Juan College.  Additionally, it�s located near Aztec ruins, historical sites, hiking, hunting, biking, skiing, and canoeing.  Nearby Four Corners area attractions include Mesa Verde National Park, Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and the Four Corners Monument.
