Ladies and Gentlemen: 

I have been privileged to stay in your hotel twice during the last six months while attending conventions.... the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and the American Hotel & Motel Association's Annual Conference and Leadership Forum. 

I say "privileged" because as a customer experiencing the benefit of your teamwork giving out-standing service to these two meetings, leaves me motivated to do better in my own work and awed by your example.   This morning the officers of the AH&MA had breakfast with about a dozen students from various hotel schools.   Several of them commented about how awed and privileged they felt to be among these senior industry executives.   As someone who loves this industry and appreciates things done well, that is how I have felt when I visit your hotel.  You do things right. 

There were no dirty restrooms,  no unkempt appearances,  no late meals,  hot food hot,  cold  food cold,  very  clean  rooms with no sign of the previous guests and the list goes on!   I spoke informally with a number of staff during quiet moments...all of them seemed pleased with working at Opryland and the manner in which they were treated.  Your associates who I spoke to were proud of their work and your hotel. 

You should be proud, you do a great job.   My fellow hoteliers and I who stay with you learn from you.  We also have good meetings thanks, in great part, to you.
