conversion of the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Irving, Texas, located
at 4650 West Airport Freeway, to an Embassy Suites hotel.
Located just two miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the newly remodeled 305-suite hotel brings the chain's total number of hotels to 146, and is the fifth Embassy Suites hotel in the Dallas area. The hotel is owned by FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (NYSE: FCH) of Irving, Texas, the largest owner of Embassy Suites hotels. It is operated under license from Promus Hotels, Inc., a subsidiary of Promus Hotel Corporation.
The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport-South Embassy Suites hotel is located near local points of interest, including Six Flags Amusement Park, Texas Stadium, the Ballpark at Arlington and Lone Star Park.
