Ron Vuy Named VP and General Manager at 
The Resort at Squaw Creek
 
March, 1999 - Benchmark Hospitality recently announced the promotion of Ron Vuy to the position of Vice President and General Manager at The Resort at Squaw Creek in Olympic Valley, California.  The appointment was announced by Sam Haigh, Chief Operating Officer.

Vuy joined Benchmark as General Manager of The Resort at Squaw Creek in January 1997, bringing a strong track record earned during more than 25 years of hospitality management experience.  According to Haigh, he has helped the resort make significant gains in every front.  Prior to moving to the Resort at Squaw Creek, Ron was General Manager at the Northland Inn & Executive Conference Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Vuy�s background includes resort, hotel and conference center experience with a four-year tour of duty in the hotel business in Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  His educational background includes two years at the United Naval Academy and a BA degree in Political Science from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
