PORTSMOUTH, N. H. (March 8, 1999) - Executives from
Newmarket International, Inc. will meet overseas this week to begin conferences
and progress briefings regarding the company�s scheduled November release
of Global SFA 7.2�a major upgrade of the hospitality industry�s first fully
automated enterprise-level sales and marketing application.
Global SFA 7.2, which combines advanced data replication, DCOM architecture,
and remote Internet access from a SQL Server 7.0 database, entered QA testing
last month. Prior to beta release in July, Newmarket�s Director of
Business Development, Charlie Hoppensteadt, will hold executive briefing
conferences with global customers and corporate partners, starting tomorrow
at the company�s Asia Pacific office in Singapore.
�We want international customers and corporate executives to see how
properties with Global SFA will realize tremendous profit growth,� Hoppensteadt
said. �For the first time, salespeople at any linked hotel will be
able to check worldwide availability for large groups and meetings, and
service customers over the phone.�
Newmarket�s Global SFA (Sales Force Automation) is the
next generation of Global Delphi. Global SFA is the first and only Windows-based
product to fully and completely automate an entire sales force on an enterprise-wide
basis.
With Global SFA, all salespeople will be automated, at
both the property level and in the regional sales offices. Whether they
are in the office or on the road, the salesperson will have immediate access
to accounts and bookings from the property to the corporate office to the
traveling salesperson.

and Resorts, Worldwide in Singapore coordinated by Newmarket�s Asia Pacific
Managing Director Paul Rantilla; a conference in Kuala Lumpur with 70 general
managers from throughout the Pacific region, and meetings with several
hotel corporations in Bombay and New Delhi.
Newmarket will conduct similar trips to Europe and Africa later in the
spring, Hoppensteadt said.
