has once again been honored with two prestigious industry awards for their
superb advertising and public relations efforts at the 9th Annual HSMAI,
Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, Adrian and
Golden Bell Awards Dinner, January 26 1999. Paradise Point Resort
was the recipient of a Silver Adrian Advertising Award for their innovative
group sales video presentation and a Bronze Golden Bell Public Relations
Award for their outstanding achievements in Community Service for the annual
Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament. In the past four years, San Diego Paradise
Point Resort has won a total of eight Adrian and Golden Bell Awards for
their innovative and dynamic advertising and public relation campaigns.
What makes the resort�s video sales presentation so unique is that the
information is relayed from a meeting planner�s perspective. A very
different and creative approach was taken to make the information more
interesting and applicable to the targeted viewer. The Paradise Point Resort�s
sales video has also been a past recipient of the Telly Award and Bronze
Adrian Advertising Award.
Over the past 11 years, the employees at Paradise Point Resort have
devoted their time and energy to making the Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament
a monumental success, which has
raised $875,000 in total donations. This unique community service
project was conceived, developed and is now solely operated by the resort
staff. The resort�s community service program is the 1999 recipient
of a California State Tourism Award and a past recipient of a Bronze Golden
Bell Public Relations Award.
