Josef & Lenore Citron, are the creators and developers
of the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in  Coronado,
California, a 450 room luxury destination resort hotel with marina, on
its own 'island' on San Diego Bay. This property, which opened October
1, 1991, looked down the long slide into the dark pit of recession into
which the hotel industry tobogganed at that time. Running counter
to the industry and the market, this couple found ways and means to make
their property one of the few real success stories of that era.
They have, in the past, been asked if they would be willing to help bring their expertise to hotels other than their own.
