Allison Tong & Goo Architects, Planners and Consultants (WAT&G)
are among the total of 60 properties in North America earning the Five
Diamond Award for 1999.
The AAA Five Diamond Award � the most coveted symbol of excellence in
the lodging industry�is presented only to those establishments that consistently
offer world-class facilities, services and amenities.
On Maui, WAT&G designed two of the three Five Diamond Award winners:
Four Seasons Resort, Maui at Wailea and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.
In Florida, four of the five cited properties were designed and/or renovated
by WAT&G: The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island; The Ritz-Carlton,
Palm Beach; The Ritz-Carlton, Naples; and The Breakers in Palm Beach, where
WAT&G recently completed the new Oceanfront Conference Center and Spa.
WAT&G was the architect for one of the top three hotels in Mexico,
Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, as well as three of the seven California
hotels on the list: The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel; The Ritz-Carlton,
Marina del Rey; and Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach.
