MEMPHIS, Tenn - Sept. 14, 1998--ResortQuest International,
Inc. (NYSE:RZT), the first brand name in the vacation rental and property
management industry, today announced the appointment of Paul Manteris as
the company's new vice president of operations, effective immediately.
Manteris has extensive experience in the areas of management, operations and marketing within the vacation rental industry in a variety of resort markets, including South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; Aspen, Colo.; Santa Fe, N.M.; and the Hawaiian island of Maui. Most recently, he held senior management and training positions with Premier Resorts, Inc./Village Resorts, a vacation rental and property management company headquartered in Steamboat Springs, Colo. As vice president of operations, Manteris will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions of the company, and will work directly with the management teams at each ResortQuest location to ensure the consistent implementation of the company's quality and service standards. Manteris will report to David Levine, president and chief operating officer of the company. "Paul Manteris' significant background in the vacation rental industry, coupled with his more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and travel business, will be a tremendous resource to ResortQuest as we implement our product and service standards, as well as other operational initiatives among our growing inventory of vacation homes and condominiums," said Levine.
