Jack Eslick, June H. McCutchen and Larry J. Mundy Appointed as SVP's at Felcor
 
IRVING, Texas, Sept. 28, 1998 -  FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (NYSE: FCH), one of the nation's largest hotel real estate investment trusts (REIT), today announced the following executive promotions: Jack Eslick as Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management, June H. McCutchen as Senior Vice President and Director of Design and Construction, and Larry J. Mundy as Senior Vice President and Director of Hotel Acquisitions.

Going forward, they will help FelCor reach new heights as one of the nation's largest hotel REITs," said Thomas J. Corcoran, Jr., FelCor's President and CEO. 

Eslick (age 47) is a hospitality veteran with more than 20 years of hotel operations experience. Mr. Eslick joined FelCor in April 1996 as its vice president and director of asset management. Over the last two years, he has been responsible for the repositioning/rebranding of hotels and working with the hotel management companies for FelCor's portfolio. Prior to joining FelCor, Mr. Eslick served as vice president of operations of Promus Hotel Corporation, where he had direct responsibility for all operations in a region that grew from 14 hotels to 26 hotels.

Mr. Eslick also has served in various capacities with Holiday Inns, Inc., including serving as general manager of various hotels and as a regional director of operations.

McCutchen (age 42) has more than 15 years experience in the hotel industry. In 1995, Ms. McCutchen joined FelCor as vice president and director of design and construction. Since joining FelCor, she has successfully completed the redevelopment of 50 hotel projects with an aggregate cost of $132.0 million. Prior to 1995, she was senior project manager for American General Hospitality, Inc., (where she managed all capital improvement work for more than 35 properties each year); project manager for Hilton Hotels, Inc., and design coordinator and purchasing manager for Embassy Suites, Inc.

Mundy (age 48) has been in the hospitality industry for 15 years. Prior to his promotion, he served as FelCor's vice president and director of hotel acquisitions since January 1998. Mr. Mundy's past assignments include development of the Motel 6 franchising program, vice president of development for Hilton Hotels and corporate counsel for Residence Inns and Embassy Suites. Mr. Mundy is a graduate of the University of Kansas and Washburn Law School.

FelCor Lodging Trust is one of the nation's largest hotel REITs.
